Our Foundation Phase group is split into 2 groups: a Grade 1 class and a mixed-grade class of Grade 2 & 3.
The focus is on teaching literacy, numeracy, life skills, creative expression and physical education. The learners' interests and abilities are developed through creative activities.
Our Intermediate Phase group is split into 2 groups: Grade 4 class (maximum of 10 children) and a mixed-grade class of Grade 5 & 6 (maximum of 20 children).
Our small group enables us to develop a flexible structure around the learner according to their strengths and weaknesses.
In the Senior Phase we encourage our learners to develop a strong work ethic, independence and perseverance, through the support and guidance of their subject teachers. Subjects are explored in semester modules, supporting the process of choosing electives for the FET phase.
This phase is strictly geared around strong preparation for the Grade 12 NSC examinations. Although we are constantly seeking to expand our subject offerings, our current list of subject choices are as follows:
