Kelly studied her B.Ed at Varsity College. She is passionate about allowing learners to be actively involved in their learning and have them as the centre of the learning process.
Her goal is to inspire young minds and create a warm environment where learners can reach their individual potential. She recognises that no two learners are the same; they have different backgrounds, personalities, and desires. It is her belief that the classroom should be a safe and inclusive environment where the learners are able to use their voice in a positive way and not be judged for their opinion.
Her view is that teachers are not only there to facilitate learning, but to give learners love and security in the classroom, and support them in developing their love for learning.
Kelly’s passions lie with baking and cooking; she is always keen to try out a new recipe. When she isn’t spending her time in the kitchen, she is ready for an outdoor adventure.
